Wee Siong Ng (Ph.D)

Wee Siong Ng is the Group Head of the Reinforcement Learning & Optimization Group and the Urban Systems Lab, where he holds the position of Senior Principle Scientist at Institute for Infocomm Research. In addition, he is the Deputy Director (Tech Pillar) at AI Singapore (AISG). Prior to his current role, he held several positions, including Deputy Department Head of the Urban Systems Initiative at the Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Head of Data Management Lab, Co-Director of I2R-LTA Joint Lab, and Co-Director of I2R-URA Joint Lab. Wee Siong earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2004.
